CV resumido:

Osvaldo Novais de Oliveira Jr. is a training physicist, having completed his doctorate at the University of Wales, Bangor, UK. He is a professor at the Institute of Physics of São Carlos, University of São Paulo. He published about 490 articles in specialized journals, 15 book chapters, 2 scientific books, 1 book on scientific writing in English, and submitted 7 patent applications. These papers received about 9300 citations (factor h = 46, data from January 2017). He directed 41 masters and doctors. He is a founding member of the Inter-Institutional Nucleus of Computational Linguistics (NILC), which developed ReGra grammar reviewer, awarded with 2 awards of technological innovation and available worldwide with Word for Windows word processor. His main areas of activity are in nanostructured organic films, topic of condensed matter physics, and processing of natural languages. He is a member of the Academy of Sciences of the State of São Paulo. He is a member of the editorial board of 4 journals and is also an associate editor of the Journal of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology and the magazine Display and Imaging. He was awarded the 2006 Scopus Award, granted by Elsevier do Brasil and Capes, as one of the 16 Brazilian researchers with the highest scientific production, based on the number of publications, citations and guidelines.
