Abstract: Flexible and sustainable electronic devices may fulfill the requirements of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) contained in Agenda 2030 from United Nations, however, the use of degradable and eco-friendly devices for rapid, selective and on-site decentralized monitoring of patient health status with portable systems toward diagnosis, fast decision and medical interventions is relatively new. Herein, we introduce flexible and sustainable substrates/support of degradable bio-based PLA films from renewable resources produced by casting method as a sustainable alternative to conventional petroleum-based plastics toward portable electronic devices and sensing applications. The flexible devices containing full electrochemical sensing system were built with screen-printing process on PLA sustainable substrates for on-site, rapid decentralized monitoring of molecular biomarkers in noninvasive sample. Reliable urinary dopamine and uric acid analysis with limit of detections of 0.138 µM and 0.595 µM could be performed with low-cost sustainable devices (
