Bachelor's degree in Physics from Instituto de Física of the University of São Paulo (IFUSP) (1997), PhD at Instituto de Física Teórica (IFT) of the São Paulo State University (UNESP) (2001), postdoc (US-NSF) fellowship at University of Wisconsin Milwaukee (UWM; 2001-2003) with Prof. Leonard Parker. Since 2005, Professor at the Instituto de Física de São Carlos (IFSC-USP). Main area of research: Fields in curved spacetimes. Main interests: vacuum energy in curved spacetimes, accelerated cosmic expansion, Unruh effect, gravity-induced instabilities.
