Research Areas: Recent research interests: Topological matter such as Topological Insulators (PRL/2018, PRL/2020), Majorana fermions (PRB/2014, Editors\\\' Suggestion) and Weyl semimetals (PRB/2018, Rapid Commun., Editors\\\' Suggestion), Many-body localization, Spin-orbit interaction in semiconductors (zinclblend, PRL/2016, PRX/2017 and wurtzite, PRB/2020), Weak localization (PRL/2019), Shubnikov-de-Haas oscillations in 2DEGs (arXiv:2304.14327,arXiv:2306.02503), Majorana fernions (arXiv:2303.01867), Many-body localization (PRB/2021), and driving qubits in Si FinFETs (PRL/2023, Editors&apos Suggestion). Resume: Prof. Egues received an undergraduate Physics degree ("Licenciatura Plena em Física") from the Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso do Sul (UFMS,1986), a master's in Physic from the Universidade de São Paulo (USP/IFQSC/1990), a PhD in Physics from The Ohio State University (USA,1996) and a Habilitation from the University of Basel (Switzerland, 2003). |
