Resume: He holds a degree in Physics (Laurea) from Università di Roma La Sapienza (1989) and a PhD in Physics from New York University (1996). Since 2003, he is a professor at the Institute of Physics of São Carlos-USP, where he is currently associate professor. He was a visiting researcher at the University of Bielefeld (Germany, 1997), the University of Adelaide (Australia, 2000), the University of Ghent (Belgium, 2011) and the University of Paris-Sud (France, 2016 and 2017). He has 111 publications with over 4500 citations (in the inSPIRE-HEP database). He has experience in Physics, with an emphasis on General Theory of Particles and Fields, working mainly in Lattice Gauge Theories, non-perturbative QCD, Monte Carlo Simulations and High-Performance Computing.
